A bizarre and dangerous incident in China has gone viral after a woman was spotted clinging to the back of her husband’s moving truck in an attempt to catch him cheating.
The incident reportedly took place at the end of March in Maralbexi County, located in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. According to reports, the woman suspected her husband was having an affair and decided to take matters into her own hands—quite literally.
Instead of confronting him directly, the woman secretly climbed onto the back of his pickup truck as he was leaving home. Her plan was to follow him and see where he was going, hoping to catch him meeting someone else.
Footage showed the woman gripping onto the metal bars at the back of the truck as it moved along the road at night, creating a dangerous situation that quickly caught the attention of other drivers.

Concerned motorists alerted authorities, who soon intervened and pulled the vehicle over.
When police stopped the truck, the driver—identified only by his surname Yu—was reportedly stunned to discover his wife hanging onto the back of his vehicle.
Authorities said the woman had taken the extreme step because she believed her husband was cheating and wanted proof.
Despite the risky stunt being initiated by the wife, it was the husband who faced consequences. Police fined him 200 yuan (around $30) and deducted three points from his driving record for failing to check the condition of his vehicle before setting off.
Officials also warned that the situation could have ended in tragedy. A police spokesperson noted that the woman was extremely lucky to have survived, adding that the outcome could have been far worse if the vehicle had been moving faster or if the road conditions had been rough.
Authorities urged couples to resolve personal issues in safer and more reasonable ways rather than resorting to dangerous actions.
