A 15-year-old boy in Wiesbaden is facing charges after pulling off an unusual stunt—stealing a city bus and driving nearly 80 miles just to take his girlfriend to school.
According to reports, the incident happened on March 13, when the teenager managed to enter a bus depot and gain access to a parked vehicle that had been left overnight.
Authorities said the bus was fully fueled and appeared to have been taken without any force. Investigators believe the teen somehow got hold of a master key, allowing him to start the vehicle and drive away.

At first, depot staff assumed the bus had been taken by a driver by mistake. However, when it still hadn’t been returned by midday, police were alerted.
By then, the teenager had already driven around 130 kilometers (roughly 80 miles) toward Karlsruhe.
Police eventually located the bus in Karlsruhe and found the 15-year-old still in the driver’s seat.

He had reportedly picked up his 14-year-old girlfriend and was in the process of taking her to school when officers stopped the vehicle.
Despite the long journey, authorities confirmed the bus was returned without any damage and no one was injured.
The teenager was handed over to his guardians and is now facing charges for theft and driving without a license.
Police also said they are still unsure how he managed to obtain the master key or how he was able to drive the bus so competently without any formal training.
