Britain’s biggest family, Noel and Sue Radford, have been taken to court after pulling several of their kids out of school for a lavish $70,000 trip to Disney World in Florida.
The couple, from Morecambe, Lancashire — best known for starring in Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting — were found guilty of failing to ensure regular school attendance for four of their children between March 24 and May 1, 2025.
According to reports from The Mirror and The Sun, the parents were fined $88 per child, plus court costs, adding roughly $1,000 to the total cost of their already extravagant vacation.

The trip, which doubled as a celebration for Sue’s 50th birthday, saw the Radfords jet off to the Sunshine State with their 22 children and 11 grandchildren — but not everyone made it on time. One of their daughters, Millie, 24, and her two kids were temporarily stranded at the airport after their ESTA certificates expired, forcing Noel to stay behind until the issue was resolved.
Sue, who turned 50 on March 22, shared photos from the trip on Instagram, showing the family posing with Disney characters and soaking up the Florida sun. In one post, she joked about the chaos of the trip while wearing Minnie Mouse ears and enjoying a giant drink.

“Some pictures from the last few days,” she captioned a series of snaps, including moments from the Disney parks and at their villa’s pool.
Despite admitting last year that the family was “feeling the pinch” financially, the Radfords spared no expense — reportedly spending more than $26,000 on flights alone.
The couple also runs their family business, Radford’s Pie Company, and have become household names in the UK through their long-running reality TV show.
A spokesperson for Lancashire County Council commented on the case, saying:
“Ensuring young people receive a good education and have a good start in life is one of our key priorities. Attainment is linked to attendance, so supporting our schools with this issue is important.”
The Radfords’ decision to take their kids out of school has drawn mixed reactions online — with some calling it “a once-in-a-lifetime family memory” and others saying rules should apply to everyone, even reality TV’s biggest brood.
Still, the family didn’t seem too bothered by the fine. Just weeks after returning from their birthday bash, they were reportedly spotted heading back to Florida again in June.
